- Margaret Agnes (1796-1879) married William J Stevens, a clerk, in Fredericton in 1833. Their two children died young. The family lived in Lancaster, Saint John County where she died in 1879.
The Saint John Daily telegraph of January 31, 1879, reported her death as follows " d. Town of Portland (St. John) Wednesday 29th Jan., Margaret A. STEVENS w/o William J. STEVENS, 81st year. Funeral from her residence corner Douglas Road and Main St., Portland, Saturday 3 o'clock.
